What are Reconditioned Units?
There are a number of reasons that our units are labeled reconditioned:
- Returns: Our customers may return a unit for many reasons. Perhaps a unit was purchased as a gift and needed to be returned or exchanged. Maybe the box or packaging was damaged in shipment and the unit was returned. Whether it’s the very next day or months later, these units must be identified as “reconditioned” to be resold.
- Scratch and Dents: The unit was returned because of a minor cosmetic blemish on the casing.
- Defective: The unit has been returned due to a minor defect or malfunction and has been repaired and tested. This unit has been certified to meet the same requirements and level of quality as a newly manufactured unit.
How Are Units Reconditioned?
All Dual Pro chargers are thoroughly
examined by our Pro Charging Systems technicians. All our reconditioned units
undergo three different test stages and a final cosmetic check. After
passing all tests, each unit is re-labeled and repackaged. The letters
“RC” are included at the end of each serial number to identify that
the unit is reconditioned. All reconditioned units are
returned to like-new or almost new condition. Some may have minor
cosmetic blemishes but will not affect the functionality of the unit.
How do I know if a unit has been reconditioned?
All Dual Pro reconditioned units have a
new serial number that will identify a reconditioned unit from a new
unit. Look at the serial number, if you see the letter “RC” (for
reconditioned) at the end of a serial number, the unit is
reconditioned. i.e.: CC01AD22339RC
